She may be entirely correct, but none of this is going to help her get re-elected.  Which makes me wonder if she is beginning to give up hope.  Like Sen. Rockefeller's earlier speech on coal a few years ago, this sounds more like a politician acknowledging a likely defeat than someone anticipating another six years in the Senate.
