With Bill Bolling deciding not to run, this is now a two-horse race.

Currently leaning towards McAuliffe, but only because he is more electable and the most likely to keep the Kook away from the Governor's Mansion.  The minute it looks as if Bill Bolling might actually win in November, I will defect to him in a heartbeat.

So don't expect my vote now to hold eight months from now.

It's disappointing how poor the candidates are for Virginia's voters in this election, frankly the last 2 gubernatorial elections.

I am guessing you mean 2009 and 2005 (since 2013 hasn't happened yet) -so what was wrong with Tim Kaine?

Bolling wants to expand Medicaid now.

He may not have officially announced his candidacy yet, but to all intents and purposes he probably has decided to run.

Bolling is now siding with Democrats on the Voter ID measure before the General Assembly.

I'm liking this guy more and more.

By the time any scandals hit Terry, he will already be governor.  Tongue

Perhaps Republicans are banking on McAuliffe winning this year to shore up their chances of winning back control of the Senate in 2015, before winning back the governor's mansion in 2017 just in time for the 2020 redistricting cycle.

With Lt. Governor Bill Bolling having made the announcement not to run, I have reset the poll options.
