OH-01: Hamilton County Clerk of Courts Aftab Pureval or Cincinatti City Councilman P.G. Sittenfeld
OH-06: Former State Senator Lou Gentile
OH-10: Dayton Mayor Nan Whaley or Montgomery County Auditor Karl Keith
OH-12: ?
OH-14: Former U.S. Attorney Steve Dettelbach or State Senator Sean O'Brien, maybe former Congressman John Boccieri
OH-15: ?
OH-16: State Rep. Nick Celebrezze

DCCC should save its money in the 2nd, 4th, 5th, 7th, and 8th; even in a wave.

I'd remove Boccieri from CD-14 and add state representative John Patterson.  I'd have think about the best candidate, but OH-7 is winnable in a wave.

A big wave, I guess. OH-16 would be largely skippable if it weren't for Gentile.

The sad thing is not being able to think of anyone in the 15th. Athens mayor Steve Patterson is pretty damn likable. He has small business and military experience, plus he used to teach. But no clue if he'd be up for it.

I don't think he could even win the primary. Athens is on the extreme edge of the district, which is mostly a Columbus district by weight of population.
Eh. Franklin County suburbs, yes. The actual city, less so. It'd probably be best to go with a Democrat with more rural appeal than someone like Senator Tavares, who's current turf fits in the district, but is way too liberal for it.

Sorry, I should have said "Columbus area/metro" instead. Still, I think for a Democrat to win, it'd have to be one who'd do well in the Columbus area suburbs. Athens will always go heavily Democrat. Just curious, you didn't think Mary Jo Kilroy would be the Democrats' best recruit?
There's no reason to think someone from Athens wouldn't perform well in the metro area. Though the twice failed Scott Wharton is certainly an argument against a purely rural candidate. Kilroy was great, but she's a lot more focused on the city now, and I doubt she'd want to run against Stivers again. He's decently well liked and rolling in cash as NRCC chair.

The 15th seems to be falling into the trap of the 10th. That is, a relatively moderate district is cementing around an otherwise beatable incumbent. Stivers will likely soon be entrenched.
