I posted this in the General Discussion thread. Posting it here. Terrible interview by Moore with Hannity, as close to a non-denial as it gets. Wouldn't be surprised if he cracks under pressure & admits the next time.

HANNITY: Debbie Wesson Gibson says she was 17 when you asked her out on several dates and it did not progress her words beyond kissing. Did that happen?

MOORE: I don't remember that. I do not remember when we...I seem to know or remember knowing her parents...that they were friends. I can't recall the specific dates because that's been 40 years but I remember her as a good girl. But neither of them have ever stated any inappropriate behavior. She didn't say anything. They said about me...

HANNITY: But do you remember ever going on a date with her? She said that you asked around out on the first of several dates but nothing progressed beyond kissing.

MOORE: I don't remember specific dates. I do not and I don't remember if it was that time or later. But I do not remember that.

HANNITY: But you know you never dated her ever? Is that what you're saying?

MOORE: No but I don't remember going out on dates. I knew her as a friend. If we did go on dates then we did. But I do not remember that.

HANNITY: Would it be unusual for you as a 32 year old guy to have dated a woman as young as 17? That would be a 15 year difference or a girl 18. Do you remember dating girls that young at that time?

MOORE: Not generally, no. If did, you know, I'm not going to dispute anything but I don't remember anything like that.

HANNITY: But you don't specifically remember having any girlfriend that was in her late teens even at that time?

MOORE: I don't remember that and I don't remember ever dating any girl without the permission of her mother. And I think in her statement she said that her mother actually encouraged her to go out with me.

Posted in General Discussion thread. Apparently Moore was very famous for his pedophilia. Moore is cooked. Surely, NBC or CNN or Fox can find a couple of local people, cops or workers in the mall to speak out against Moore on video -

Alabama Residents Say Roy Moore's Pursuit of Teenage Girls Was 'Common Knowledge'

“These stories have been going around this town for 30 years,” Blake Usry, who grew up in Gadsden and lives there currently, told Al.com. “Nobody could believe they hadn’t come out yet.” “Him liking and dating young girls was never a secret in Gadsden when we were all in high school,” Sheryl Porter told Al.com. “In our neighborhoods up by Noccalula Falls we heard it all the time. Even people at the courthouse know it was a well-known secret.” “He watched us girls quite openly,” added Victoria Beverstock, who said she was a 20-year-old waitress in 1992 working at a local restaurant Moore frequently dined at. “His eyes crawled over our shirts and our backsides. He was so open about it that I would try and handle his order as quickly as possible.”

Locals Were Troubled by Roy Moore’s Interactions with Teen Girls at the Gadsden Mall

I spoke or messaged with more than a dozen people—including a major political figure in the state—who told me that they had heard, over the years, that Moore had been banned from the mall because he repeatedly badgered teen-age girls. Sources tell me Moore was actually banned from the Gadsden Mall and the YMCA for his inappropriate behavior of soliciting sex from young girls,” the independent Alabama journalist Glynn Wilson wrote on his Web site on Sunday.

Greg Legat, who is now fifty-nine and living in East Gadsden, was, from 1981 to 1985, an employee at the Record Bar, a store that was in the Gadsden Mall. Legat says that he saw Moore there a few times, even though his understanding then was that he had already been banned. “It started around 1979, I think,” Legat said. “I know the ban was still in place when I got there.” Legat recalled a Gadsden police officer named J. D. Thomas, now retired, who worked security at the mall. “J. D. was a fixture there, when I was working at the store,” Legat said. “He really looked after the kids there. He was a good guy. J. D. told me, ‘If you see Roy, let me know. He’s banned from the mall.’ ” Legat recalled Thomas telling him, “If you see Moore here, tell me. I’ll take care of him.’ ”

Two officers I spoke to this weekend, both of whom asked to remain unnamed, told me that they have long heard stories about Moore and the mall. “The general knowledge at the time when I moved here was that this guy is a lawyer cruising the mall for high-school dates,” He also said, “I heard from one girl who had to tell the manager of a store at the mall to get Moore to leave her alone.”e added, “I actually voted for Moore. I liked him at one time. But I’m basically disgusted now"

Only on Atlas can a thread about how Alabama is going to elect a pedophile to the United States Senate turn into a discussion about what quality of poster I am. You guys are something else.

Wow. Finally a disavowal that might actually hurt Moore.

Doubt Hannity matters. You are totally right about Alabama. He will win there & comfortably (Even if you are wrong about WV).

Richardson told the Post she was a senior in high school when Moore first approached her at the Gadsden Mall in the fall of 1977, just before or after her 18th birthday. Moore, then around 30 years old, asked for her phone number and the name of her school. Richardson said when she declined to give Moore her number, he called her school days later and asked to speak with her – prompting her to be pulled from her trigonometry class to take the call from the principal’s office. Richardson told the Post she accepted a date with Moore because she was initially flattered. But during their encounter, he drove her to an empty parking lot and tried to forcefully kiss her. “I never wanted to see him again,” Richardson, now 58 and a community college teacher, said.

The new allegations in the Post came just hours after another new accuser told Al.com that Moore groped her behind while she was in his law office in 1991. “He didn’t pinch it; he grabbed it,” she said.
The woman, Tina Johnson, said she was 28 at the time, in Moore’s office with her mother on legal business. “He kept commenting on my looks, telling me how pretty I was, how nice I looked,” Johnson said. “He was saying that my eyes were beautiful.” In the same piece, Kelly Harrison Thorp said Moore asked her out when she was 17, saying: “I go out with girls your age all the time.”

Rabbi At Roy Moore Rally Says He’ll Stand Up To ‘Gay Terrorists’

“We all, especially those of us in Orthodox Jewish communities nationwide, need Judge Moore in the Senate now more than ever,” he went on to say. “We need someone with a proven record of facing off against the gay terrorists who never, ever let an opportunity to lie to go to waste.” Leiter also cited a midrash, an interpretation of scripture, that claimed the biblical Noah’s flood was triggered by “societal recognition of same-gender marriage.” He also criticized “anti-God Republicans” like Sen. John McCain for “fail[ing] to combat the agendas of sodomy and transgender insanity….. They have failed to push even one simple bill to protect bakers, photographers, etc. from homosexualist gay terrorist blackmail.” Leiter was previously in the news in 2012 for claiming that Superstorm Sandy was “divine justice” because New York was “one of the national centers for homosexuality.”

Alabama Gov: Roy Moore May Be a Child Molester, But At Least He’s Not a Democrat

Alabama Governor Kay Ivey accidentally gave away the Religious Right’s secret yesterday when she was answering questions about fellow Republican Roy Moore. She said of his accusers, “I certainly have no reason to disbelieve any of them.” She added: “There’s never an excuse for or rationale for sexual misconduct or sexual abuse.”

“I’m going to cast my ballot on December the 12th, and I do believe the nominee of the party is the one I’ll vote for,” Ivey said. “I believe in the Republican Party, what we stand for, and most important, we need to have a Republican in the United States Senate to vote on things like the Supreme Court justices, other appointments the Senate has to confirm and make major decisions. So that’s what I plan to do, vote for Republican nominee Roy Moore.”

Roy Moore says he first noticed his wife when she was 15 or 16 years old

Alabama Republican Senate candidate Roy Moore, who has been accused of pursuing romantic relationships with teenagers while in his 30s, said he first noticed his future wife eight years before he formally met her -- when she would have been as young as 15 years old. Moore was 38 when he married Kayla Kisor, who was 24.

"When I was deputy district attorney, many years before we got married, I saw her at a dance recital and I was standing, oh, at the back of the auditorium and I saw her up front," he recalled at the time. "I remember her name, it was Kayla Kisor. KK. But I remember that and I didn't meet her there ... it was, oh gosh, eight years later or something, I met her. And when she told me her name, I remembered."

"I knew Kayla was going to be a special person in my life," Moore wrote about when he first saw her when she was 15 years old. He wrote he began dating her when she was 23, a year before they married, according to the memoir. "Anxious to meet her, I began with the line, 'Haven't we met somewhere before?' 'I don't think so,' she replied," he said, recalling the moment they met at a church Christmas party. But he recalled first seeing her "many years ago" at a dance recital at a nearby college in Alabama. He wrote he never forgot her, even when he saw her again years later.

Senate candidate Roy Moore's son is arrested for the ninth time

The son of Republican U.S. Senate candidate Roy Moore has been arrested in Alabama on a misdemeanor charge linked to allegations of illegal hunting. Etowah County Sheriff's spokeswoman Natalie Barton tells news outlets 27-year-old Caleb Moore surrendered Monday on a charge of third-degree criminal trespass. He was accused of hunting without permission and hunting over bait last year.

Caleb Moore was arrested on drug charges in 2015, but those were dropped after he entered a pre-trial diversion program. Monday's arrest marks the ninth time the 27-year-old has been in jail, AL.com reported.

Roy Moore's Son Has a Murky Employment Situation With His Dad's Foundation

If you look at Caleb Moore’s resume, his current position is assistant executive director at the Foundation for Moral Law, the organization founded by his father. He allegedly has been in that position for three years, previously serving as an information systems specialist at the foundation from May 2013 to May 2014.  But if you ask the foundation, he is not an employee there and hasn’t been one, at least for the past year.  The president of the organization is Kayla, Roy’s wife. The Washington Post reported that the charity has employed at least two of the couple’s four children. The foundation has been lucrative for Roy Moore. He collected more than $1 million total ― for part-time work ― as president from 2007-2012, which was far more than what the nonprofit disclosed in its tax filings.

Tax experts told The Washington Post that the foundation was suspicious because it may violate tax rules that prohibit the use of a charity for the private benefit of an individual. Caleb may be benefiting more from the resume boost rather than a steady paycheck. His resume, found on his LinkedIn page, is dated Feb. 27, 2017. Assistant executive director is his most recent position, from May 2014-present. The resume is riddled with grammatical and typographical errors. Despite those seven years of management experience, the resume states that he is looking for “entry-level employment.”

“I work in the ministry,” Caleb said. “I’m part of the foundation. I do work there. I basically draft letters. I’m also going to school." Deem confirmed that Caleb has received compensation from FML: “He’s gotten paid from our foundation, yes, he has. He was on our payroll, but it wasn’t as an executive director.” Caleb has been arrested nine times, including for driving under the influence, drug-related charges and domestic violence. After one of his arrests in 2015, he wrote a Facebook post going after “crooked police officers and critics of my dad” who want to “not only destroy his career for what he stands for but will go as far as trying to destroy his family.”

Greedo is a troll. Icespear is a decent poster who will be proven right because people have chosen to bury their heads in the sand.

Anyways, Icespear does give an exaggerated response about WV & a few other issues but is largely a decent, logical poster. You can't ban a poster because you don't like their views & compare to it to a troll.

Abortion is a more divisive issue for evangelicals than gay marriage or amnesty. They look @ it as murdering the unborn. You can't go worse than murder.

Surely, a few people in the fence would have been more comfortable with a pro-life Democrat but whether that is enough to win is anyone's guess. But it helps, certainly doesn't hurt in the Bible belt.

@WalshFreedom
If I lived in Alabama, I'd vote for Roy Moore. Why?

1. Because an ACCUSED man isn't guilty.

2. Because the Republican establishment doesn't want him to win.

3. Because the other candidate supports killing babies 15 minutes before babies are born.

It's an easy call.

@MooreSenate
Dec. 12 in Alabama comes down to this:

#FullTerm #AbortionJones will give us another #ProChoice, pro-abortion #RuthBaderGinsburg style judge on the SCOTUS.

We can't let that happen.

We need another #ProLife Justice like #Gorsuch or #Scalia on the #SCOTUS.

Can Abortion Make Roy Moore A Senator?

Republican voters in Alabama are being put in the uncomfortable position of choosing between a Republican accused of sexual misconduct with minors and a Democrat who believes in abortion rights. Moore and his supporters have heavily emphasized abortion in the weeks since the allegations, implicitly daring religious and socially conservative voters to sit out and allow a Democrat who supports abortion rights to take a deep South Senate seat. It’s rare for a candidate to devote so much time to the topic of abortion in a competitive general election.“It’s huge,” said Alabama GOP consultant Blake Harris. “If Jones is pro-life,” he hypothesized, “it’s a totally different scenario right now.” Trump, who faced a similar situation with the release of the Access Hollywood tape was able to leverage a similar dynamic to the one Moore is attempting. The comments Trump made on that tape made some conservative voters uncomfortable. But, his supporters argued, it was still vitally important that conservatives vote for him in order to make sure conservative, anti-abortion rights justices make it to the Supreme Court.

Jones’ comments during a September appearance on Meet the Press have been at the center of Moore’s attacks. Host Chuck Todd asked him if Jones would back a 20-week abortion ban, and Jones said he would not. “I’m not in favor of anything that is going to infringe on a woman’s right and her freedom to choose,” he said. One Republican operative who has worked in Alabama described supporting abortion rights as the one position that was simply not tenable in Alabama, suggesting that you could have more liberal positions on just about any other issue — “I think you could be in favor of raising taxes” — just not that one. The operative deemed it “a fatal flaw” for Jones. “I think that really handicaps his ability to either flip potential supporters or get them to stay at home,” the operative said. “I think that’s a powerful issue and ultimately think that’s one of the reasons Moore is going to win.”

Chism Strategies, a Georgia-based progressive Democratic consulting firm not otherwise involved in the Senate race, did an automated survey of 1,500 white female Alabama voters on Nov. 21, and found that among undecided women and Moore supporters, abortion was a fairly frequent explanation for their position. The firm did not post the poll results, but rather looked at the responses of the women about how they’re thinking about their vote.

It is not just a random act 40 years ago, this was Child Molestation & ofcourse a repeated pattern of sexual assault when Moore forced himself on many women without their consent.

Are people going to pretend it is okay because Moore didn't rape those women?

Trump endorsed Roy Moore.

@realDonaldTrump
Democrats refusal to give even one vote for massive Tax Cuts is why we need Republican Roy Moore to win in Alabama. We need his vote on stopping crime, illegal immigration, Border Wall, Military, Pro Life, V.A., Judges 2nd Amendment and more. No to Jones, a Pelosi/Schumer Puppet!

@realDonaldTrump
Putting Pelosi/Schumer Liberal Puppet Jones into office in Alabama would hurt our great Republican Agenda of low on taxes, tough on crime, strong on military and borders...& so much more. Look at your 401-k’s since Election. Highest Stock Market EVER! Jobs are roaring back!
