Am I the only one who selected Rogers as the only Republican (other than Cruz and Scott)? I think the seat being open will play a role, as well as the fact that Arab and Muslim voters in Detroit may stay home or vote third party - Slotkin is very deep state and regardless of what Biden does, they don't really have any reason to support her.

Deep State?
That's what a lot of my family calls 'The Establishment' so that's what I typed. Rogers fits that label as well, though he's a better fit for Michigan than Amash because of trade and immigration (I can't believe people aren't talking about that, he'd get destroyed in any statewide run).
My point was, Michigan has a non-zero contingent of voters who are usually Democrats but may stay home/vote third party over Biden's handling of the Middle East conflict. And even if Biden starts to change course to try to win them back, I doubt they'd support Slotkin because she's one of the most hawkish House Democrats.
