This is obviously something we need to pass ASAP.

I don't necessarily have a problem with these rules. However, the naming conventions contradict our Constitution.

Tongue
I agree. Since this is necessary, relating to rules and such, can I bring this up for a vote now. (That's not in the rules, but, on a technicality, since we haven't passed the rules yet, can we just do that this one time?)

As we don't have any rules then yes we can hold a vote on this.
I think we should hold a vote on it.

How would the 'dean' be determined? Most senior member (other than the speaker)? Meanwhile, is it okay for me to introduce the other proposed bills (before this is fully approved/voted on)?

^I support it as well. Unless other amendments are proposed, the amended version of the bill goes up for a vote when 24 hours have passed since Pikachu proposed the amendment.

I withdraw my amendment and will support Pikachu's amendment.
Okay, Pikachu's amendment it is. This is now going up for a final vote. Aye, nay, or abstain.

Totally agree Pikachu. I support that amendment, let's see what the other assembly members think. If one other person is fine with it, I'll put the amendment up for vote, and soon after, we can hopefully get the bill up for a final vote.

I have no problem with the filling vacancies portion, however, as an Independent, I do have one problem. If the member in question is inactive and is removed for that, then how can a replacement be made then?

Now Personally I feel that by-elections are not necessarily a bad thing. However, I know that can be tricky to do in Atlasia.
I'm in favor of a by-election to replace an independent instead of him or herself choosing the replacement.

The speaker's supposed to send it to your office, right?
Oh right, that's how. I will do that for other bills.
