The US green party has long been an incredibly unserious entity, and this is just more evidence of that. It's a shame, because having another party on the left that could compete in what are currently 80 or 90% Democratic districts in major cities could be a good thing for making sure that elected Dems in those areas stay responsive to the needs of their constituents.
