It is fun if nothing else. But it does make me think about the midterm problem. Many groups of voters seem to need a central figure to rally around in an election, and midterms really don't have that on the scale needed, thus, turnout drops among those voters. It makes me wonder if this fanciful idea could encourage young people/minorities to vote. Democrats really need a solution to this issue that doesn't just involve waiting until Millennials age more.
Also makes me wonder what would happen if Obama did do this, but Democrats came up short. Would the GOP House majority spend the next 2 years trying to humiliate him?
