With my grand plan to replace myself with an active President who I felt would do a much better job than myself complete, I do want to step back into something that I feel is more reasonable for my abilities. The Lincoln Assembly is definitely improving in activity, but I feel that I can help make the Assembly better in both activity and legislating terms. So I hope you all will consider voting for me, more to come soon. I will be running as a Federalist.

Endorsements:

Lincoln Senator R2D2
President Fhtagn
President Leinad
Assemblyman ReaganClinton20xx

Former Southern Speaker Justin Time Cuber
Representative Haslam2020
Speaker of the House North Carolina Yankee

Winfield just look at the sequence carefully because this was planned out in order to achieve the best outcome: Goldwater becomes President, he didn't really want to stay President long term for similar reasons to me for the moment, so he made Fhtagn VP for a week or two in order to make sure the opening of the new congress went smoothly ---> Goldwater resigned and allowed Fhtagn who we believed would be far more active and better at the job  and that's about it lol

OK

But why all the cloak and dagger intrigue?

Why not just be up front about it?

OK, now onto other matters.

Inasmuch as you are a candidate for the Lincoln Assembly, and inasmuch as I am a citizen of Lincoln and a Lincoln voter, I would like to know if your plan for a "Confederacy" association is part of your platform in your quest for a Lincoln Assembly seat.

Any enlightenment in this matter you have for me would be appreciated.
No I've dropped that as I realized it probably would not work well in practicality even if it looks fine on paper.

DFW, you were a great president, but if you didn't have time for the presidency, it's hard to imagine you'll have time for the Assembly. Also your flips back and forth between Fed and Independent is concerning. But anyways:

Will you be continuing your campaign services business while you are running for Assembly?
The Presidency is way more time consuming than being in the regional legislature, mainly for behind the scenes reasons....as for the party flips I would think someone like you would get it Tongue

Yes I do plan on continuing it as it does not impact my campaigning or my job if elected.

I ask all Lincoln Voters to consider all factors when casting their vote. It is difficult to see how DFW will have time to run a campaigning business and be in the assembly when he did not have time for the presidency, but at the same time he was a great president. It is difficult to know the right decision here, and for that reason I will make no endorsement in this race.
I would like to state for the record that I may or may not have assaulted a reporter according to a certain tabloid run by a certain governor Wink

Fmr. President DFW, The participation in assembly matters has been somewhat lackluster, looking back to the 6th assembly and early 7th/current assembly. Though I supported your administration through and through, the question of time and effort does come up since a lack of action from your administration was why you resigned in the first place. So, from an incumbent Assemblyman to one running for the office, how will you help step up the participation levels in our regional government?
Well I'd actually post in every thread and I do have some ideas on bills I'd like to introduce which I will get into later in the month along with ensuring that bills get amended before they pass if I don't like the way they look.

I would but,

I don't live in Lincoln

And although your cool, you flip flop faster than hip hop on literally everything.

You're* and I don't know wat that means but to quote former southern governor NeverAgain "kay".

Here we are with the classic 4 AM Eastern platform unveil:

- Healthcare will be a main priority as the healthcare bill I signed outgoing from the Presidency will begin to be debated amongst the regions, I hope to help Lincoln have the best regional healthcare plan of all of the regions! (The exact type of healthcare shall be debated amongst my colleagues, should I be elected)

- Natural disaster planning will be another key priority for me, I believe Lincoln is not properly prepared for an array of natural disasters including hurricanes, tornadoes, and flood protection, I will make legislation that addresses this.

- I will ensure that the rights of Lincoln as a region are properly protected against any federal government intrusions, from all levels of the federal government. I have experience at all levels to know when the region might be impacted and I will help to protect the region through legislation or otherwise.

- I will continue the fight against the NLLC, but I will also make sure that the civil liberties of Lincoln citizens are protected and not infringed upon in the name of stopping terrorism.

- There are so many other issues that I will think of to address as this is just a basic starting platform, I am interested in also continuing the "Atlasrail project" that has been talked about for a while now.

- Ultimately, I don't see this as some grand return to office where I will rapidly step up the ladder, I fully intend to serve out my term as Assemblyman if elected and perhaps many more terms to come, depending on the Atlasia climate (I will consider higher office only if I think I'm truly needed, not due to personal ambition)

I hope you will consider backing me and voting for me in the Lincoln Assembly. Thank you and have a good day!

Sorry, I need to take a break from Atlasia and to be honest, Lincoln deserves better than me at the moment.
