Announcement Speech

Greetings my friends, I have very much enjoyed my time in the Senate, but I have received a call from Governor PiT recently that he was not running for re-election for Governor of the South. The South has been plagued by inactivity up until very recently and unemployment has skyrocketed. The South is in desperate need of reform and a boost to the economy. Therefore, I am happy to announce that I am running for Governor of the great Southern Region of Atlasia!

My fellow citizens, I am running on a unity platform, I want to unify the South under one common banner no matter who you are, be it Federalist, Laborite, United Alternative, or Independent. My platform is simple, we need to energize the south to reach its full potential! My plan involves increasing the surplus by cutting government waste and releasing the shackles from those who are burdened by high taxes. I will work with the Southern Chamber of Delegates to reform Healthcare, I hope for a vigorous debate on what system is right for our great Region, I will work to ensure that the sovereignty of our great Region is protected and that the federal government will not try to step into places that they do not belong within our great region. I will work to reform our immigration system by securing the border, while allowing those who are illegally here to come out of the shadows and become part of our system, I will work with the southern Chamber of Delegates to ensure these plans go the right way as well. I will listen to all voices in our great region regardless of party, or identify, and come up with plans that will make everyone in the region feel accepted and welcome. I will be coming out with more plans in the next several days, God Bless you all!

Victory Speech

My fellow citizens, I would like to thank every who voted for me for Governor of our great region, to everyone who did not vote for me, I do not care any less about your needs or the needs of our great citizens who did not vote, I will be a Governor of the people and for the people. I would like to thank Speaker NeverAgain for running an issues based campaign which truly cared about improving the lives of our citizens, we  must continue on with the issues of both campaigns in mind, as both campaigns received a large number of votes. I will soon begin laying the groundwork for applications to my "unofficial cabinet" and will begin talks with the incoming Chamber of Delegates to get the ball rolling on the issues that we as Southerners all care about. God bless the Southern Region and God Bless Atlasia! I hope to count on all Southerner's support as we begin this new era of Southern politics!
