Haven't had an update to this in a month - order hasn't changed, but some numbers have.

1) BRTD 76,868 (+325)
2) Al 60,210 (+155)
3) Lewis 58,715 (nc)
4) Phil 52,860 (-1)
5) opebo 47,159 (nc)
6) Kalwejt 42,698 (+1,243)
7) Eraserhead 41,666 (+251)
Cool Lief 39,624 (+98)
9) Tender Branson 39,580 (+387)
10) Xahar 39,202 (+10)

In comparison to newer members, since May 10:

cxsmith has had 1,277
IceSpear has had 1,724
I have had 1,011
TNVolunteer has had 987

Jfern needs only 657 posts to make it, which for him should take 75 days.

3) Lewis 58,620
4) Phil 52,851

Surely school has started, Antonio?

Also, I just passed Dave Leip in posts and moved into the top 350 - which is scary.

Right, I realized that.

Yesterday was the most active day since July 25th, almost surpassing July 19th to be the second most active day since the end of the primary season.

Posts update (because why not):

1) BRTD 77,976  (+163)
2) Al 60,606 (+50)
3) Lewis 58,620 (0)
4) Phil 52,849 (-2)
5) opebo 47,130 (0)
6) Kal 44,072 (+317)
7) Eraserhead 41,957 (+62)
8 ) Antonio 41,230 (+660)
9) Tender 40,512 (+125)
10) Lief 40,144 (+143)

Antonio has made 660 posts in 18 days, a rate of almost 37 a day. He should pass Eraserhead by November 1st, and will pass Kal (!) in 5 months, by which point he'd be 2 days away from passing opebo.

Lief should pass Tender in exactly 1 year.

With this post I officially become the 300th top poster here. It took me just over 300 days, and is now making me very sad.

Side note: since I joined, Tony has made approximately 5,700 posts.

We're nearing the end of October, and so far total activity on the forum this month is already well past activity in Oct. 2008 or 2012.  And it's looking very possible that this month will set a new record for most active month in the forum's history.  We'll just have to wait and see how it unfolds over the next few days.

I'm #152. In the 121-150 range are Duke, PBrunsel, Holmes, DC Al Fine, Gass, TDAS, Averroes, Flo, Vosem, Likely Voter, and darthebearnc. Lots of big names I have to pass there.

Only 115 posters are above 10,000 posts. TNVolunteer, realisticidealist, and ClintonianCake are probably all about to pass that.

Now I'm #140. No one who registered after me is ahead of me in post count. Only one, TNVolunteer, even registered the same year as me.

By 10 hours, the same is true for me Tongue

Is it possible to do "most posts this year" tracking or other similar things.

Actually I think that is a fine idea. Right now, this thread only serves to show a few minute changes here and there between the same 10 posters, some of whom have stopped posting long ago or are outright banished from Atlasland.

Curious if the stats for such a thing are even available to the right people.

They would be a good addition, and the only way they'd be available is if someone took screenshots of every page of the members page on January 1...

Also since I'd likely wind up in the top 5 or 10 of this ranking, plsno

Did you make 75 posts in two days(I have a problem)?

Oh, I have before. I once got 1034 over a 30 day period, and that might not even be my highest (I have a huge problem).

I've made more posts since Halloween than you've made in your whole time here

Haha don't. Trust me, you'll regret it a lot later. 1,000 posts in a month is never healthy. Don't do Atlas, kids. Stay in school.

Is there any way to sort by total time online? I don't really post a lot, and I tend to delete most of my useless posts (like this one) after a few days, but I don't doubt that that 31 days, 15 hours is accurate. Can I see this number for anyone else?

You can see the general stats panel for everyone, which will list it, and there's a top 10 on the Stats Page. Otherwise, no.

Interesting. I wonder why September 2010 had so many new posters, and also why # of posts doesn't seem to correlate with number of posters.

I'm fairly sure it was an Atheist2006 sock-spam

I just noticed the Male:Female ratio has gone up from 16.3:1 -> 16.4:1

Come on Atlas Sad

In other non-depressing news, the forum continues to have activity that is often higher or at least on par with October 2014. One area the forum does consistently better with is online users. Going by statistics, this forum has come a long way since 2013.

I think it was 18:1 when I joined Tongue

Also holy jesus I'm going to be in the top 200 posters awful soon...

EDIT: But neither of them are close to the average posting rate of this future resident of the top ten leaderboard:

https://uselectionatlas.org/FORUM/index.php?action=profile;u=14346

Lame. When I was a newbie, I had 40 posts per day average.

And now I've made another one. I do have a problem.

OK, you got me curious, so I looked it up in the Archive.  Here's your profile from March 2010, at which point you'd been on the forum for about 8.5 months:

link

46.350 posts per day.  Yikes.

A18 and Roach were worse. I'd say Eharding was too but I don't think he ever got above 45.
