Why should we allow the lgbt community to donate blood when it's been proven that the disease risk is just too high? I cannot in good conscience support this bill even with the right of a victim to sue.

Well that's actually incorrect- it's not the LGBT community but rather 'Men who have sex with Men'

Quite true. While it is higher among Gay Men, I don't see how in good conscience someone cannot support letting us give blood if we are tested for STIs and are proved to be safe from them. It is the height of lunacy for me.

It's useless debating JCL; he'll just reply to you with some long rant about the 'rainbow jihad'.

Uh, Blair, you might want to fix that typo.

As for you, JCL, you've been the same way ever since I came to Atlasia: all talk and no sources. This is just a continuation of your previous rhetoric when it comes to debating. Apparently, you seem to believe that if you make enough ridiculous claims with no backing whatsoever, it'll magically make your beliefs have basis in reality.

Just saying, heterosexual people can catch STDs as well. Should we ban blood donation all together, Representative, or is this just an excuse for you to try to break down the boundary between church and state?

So can you cite your sources, JCL? This is not the first time I've asked, and judging from your feeble attempts at debating, it probably won't be the last.
