If I had to guess, I'd assume it's due to the misconception that the Progressive Party is nothing more than a fringe party that the Northeast and Northwest love for some reason. However, we are so much more than that.

If I am elected, I will focus on the issues I've focused on since I became MP for OH-13 in 1993. First, I will fight for economic policies that strengthen our middle class. We need to create jobs, rebuild American manufacturing, invest in our small businesses, and train workers for new opportunities in new industries.
Secondly, I will focus our foreign policy on advancing stability and prosperity here at home and abroad. This is not only tied to military actions, but includes foreign aid, development assistance, and support for universal human rights, as well as fighting the conditions that breed terrorism.
Thirdly, I will work to promote equal rights. From expanding economic opportunities for low-income Americans to opposing discrimination in every form, I will continue to fight and protect the civil rights and liberties of all citizens.

As disappointed as I am the Liberals didn't pick us in 2012, I'd like to form a coalition with them, as our policies are fairly close and we can push America in a better, more progressive direction. I'd also look into coalitions with Jacksonians and the Independents.

We see a key opportunity to expand our party this year. While I thank and respect MP Sanders for his work, we need new leadership to seek this opportunity, and I feel like I'm the one who can seize it and get us into the next government, and quite possibly even lead it.
