I think Republicans are more realistic about this race than Democrats.

Sinema is literally the most moderate person in the house (by vote view score). She will destroy rightwig McSally and radical rightj Kelli and Arpario
She has baggage in her past and a history of being a radical. Also, let’s remember the last time a Democrat won an Arizona senate seat was 1998, and he was a longtime incumbent. Arizona isn’t a Blue State, despite the exuberance with which atlas proclaims it as such.

Literally nobody outside of rabid partisans on either side will care about this, which is exactly why McSally is doing it: to appease the rapid partisans that will vote in the Republican primary.
I agree. I really don't see this mattering in the general election. People who vote based on immigration reform will vote Sinema no matter what because they hate Trump. This will just help McSally keep the base happy and active.

There are some people who are pro Dreamers and voted Trump. See: AZ-08. Tipinerni was very pro DACA, Lesko was very pro Border Wall.

Trump won by 21, Lesko won by less than 5.
DACA is not why that race was close.

If winning the Senate this year wasn't so important, I'd honestly be rooting for Sinema to lose. The idea of being stuck with such deadweight for decades to come is painful.

Meh. Bob Casey ran as a ConservaDem in 2006 and look at him now.

...one of the only pro-life members of the Dem caucus?
Saying you're pro-life and voting like you're prochoice makes you prochoice.

The Arizona Republic, the state's largest newspaper, endorses Sinema.  This is the first time they've endorsed a Democrat running for Senate since at least 2000.  They've endorsed a Democrat for President only once in their history (since 1890): Clinton in 2016.
They also released a cartoon showing Sinema shooting down McSally's fighter plane. They're a disgrace of a "newspaper"

This. Although Arizona will probably be bluer by the time she runs for reelection.
That may be true, but Arizona has always been known for its moderate, independent political environment.  Sinema was elected with the expectation that she'd continue in that tradition.

Ah yes, historically moderate Arizona. Like when they voted for Jan Brewer, Joe Arpaio and Jeff Flake with little problem
Arpaio lost, Flake had an independent streak, and Brewer left office with high unpopularity
