White is going to make the race competitive if he wins the primary.
I'm sure Greg-40 million in the campaign account- Abott is so concerned with his sky high approvals.

A a YUGE upset, Mark Tippets has won the nomination of the Libertarians for Governor. He beat Kathie Glass, Patrick Smith, and Kory Watkins.

His campaign has the standard LP positions but he is placing emphasis on opposing Trump and his immigration policies, most notably his wall. His Spanish is pretty good as well.
Bad for Dems, good for Repubs.

Tippets might be a good protest vote if Valdez wins on Tuesday, which I think she will.

I would vote for Andrew White over Abbott, but not Valdez.

Why so? Is it her history on immigration?

And since Valdez is extremely pro-choice, while White is personally pro-life - one wonders in how many ways the GOP would exploit this. Running a rapidly pro-choice campaign in Texas is setting yourself up to lose, as Wendy Davis showed - she actually lost Hispanic men. No winning Democratic gubernatorial candidate is ever going to lose Hispanic men in GE...

So, Valdez thinks you can't even disagree with her opinion. If you do, you're hateful. The radical left is taking over the Democratic Party...and it's why Trump won.

Abott will probably win Latino men- again. This will be an excellent judge of whether traditional and inoffensive, but still conservative, Republicans can continue to. dominate in TX.
