I am a largely retired lawyer with too much time on my hands who lives in a small town. Any ideas?

Very much a centrist. Temperamentally, on most issues, I like to try to find common ground to get something done, that most are reasonably satisfied with, as opposed to one side getting all of the marbles. I really, really dislike how toxic the public square has become. It's just awful!

I think you could easily be elected to congress in a New York Swing district as either a Republican or a Democrat, whichever you think is best and I encourage you to run!
