I have the opposite worry. I'm staying up to 3am (GMT where I am) to watch the speech and I worry that it won't be inspirational enough to keep me awake!

biden pretty much talked me in to voting for the ticket.

sad...but true.

That reminds me of something my Mom told me a couple days ago. We were talking about U.S. politics and she brought up the subject of Biden's selection by Obama. My Mom had previously made many comments to the effect of 'Obama's too young, I don't trust him' and 'McCain's the only really solid pick'. When she mentioned Biden she suddenly began speaking about how much weight he brought to the ticket and what a good choice he was.

I asked her if she'd change her vote now. She said it was possible. GoBama!
