I'd just like to point out that by the time 40% of the iowa polls were in, Obama had a 5 point lead that only opened afterwards. Smiley

Obama trails by over 5K now. The college towns aren't enough to push him into the lead unless they go over 75% for him and that ain't happening. Bow to the all-powerful Clin-Ton! Muahaha!

It's hardly the death of Obama (regrettably), but the point is that it's *not* the death of Clinton.

An Obama win here would have put the Clinton campaign into a tailspin that no amount of campaigning could recover. That was Obama's goal for the night: not to cinch the nomination, but to undermine his main rival. This hasn't happened and now it's a real horserace with Clinton in a slight lead.

But don't fret Obama-ites. You always were the scrappy underdogs - this should be familiar territory.
