Who's your favorite President who never was?

I'll go with Humphrey. My dad saw him speak in the late 60's at one time and commented on his intelligence and cunning nature. He doesn't say things like that about people very often, let alone politicians. Unfortunatley, Humphrey suffered(from what I've heard) from Johnson interfering in his campaign.
