I don't know. I have only a very rudimentary knowledge of it. Beethoven, Strauss, Mozart all come to mind. I just never had the time/interest to really get into Classical, although I appreciate it.


I like the Shostakovich piece at the beginning of Eyes Wide Shut a lot.

OMG! I actually played that one in a concert last year! For us basses, it's mostly repeating Cs and Gs at the beginning of each bar, but it's still cool!

Trombone. I'm actually pretty sure there's a trombone solo somewhere around two and a half minutes in there, but I can't confirm that.

Very nice. I don't recall a trombone solo, but I could be wrong.
