I think the College Democrats on campuses all over America should try to illustrate the absurdity of legacy admissions by conducting a 'Legacy Admissions Bake Sale'.

During this event, the average student who had to work hard to get into college would be charged 75 cents for an item. But the rich kids who benefited from legacy admissions would be charged only 50 cents.

Isn't that absurd? Well, that's the whole point. It's to illustrate how ridiculous legacy admissions are.

Or, you can pay $1 for an item and not be judged based on whether you have a privileged economic background.

Of course you know the whole event would be shut down because it dares to make fun of a stupid policy like legacy admissions.

Seriously, the bake sale idea is absurd, but I'm just mentioning it to make a point.
