Why is Kentucky "strong Bush"?

I can't even begin to tell you how hugely unpopular Bush is in Kentucky.

If Bush manages to win Kentucky, I'll eat my hat.

I don't even know anyone who voted for him last time, yet suspiciously he managed to win 62% in my county.

Bush will win Kentucky again and its not even a question

Oh yeah?

I think a more accurate statement would be: "Republican county officials will rig the election again, and it's not even a question."

I would bet that 30% of Democratic and third party votes in this state aren't even counted.

Still, I'm betting on Bush to lose Kentucky and the whole election.

It's not entirely inconceivable.

With the Iraq torture scandal, I wonder why Bush isn't getting stomped in every state.

I'l bet you $50K that Bush wins Kentucky.

Fifty thousand bucks is nothing compared to all the money everyone will lose if Bush continues to destroy the economy.

kentucky is solid for bush.  that's just a fact.

Everyone said the special election in the 4th District was going to go Republican, and look what happened there.

No party registration numbers or any sense of logic point toward Kerry winning Kentucky.

Democrats do have a 2-to-1 registration edge, and more importantly, Bush is a disaster.

The Point is...rock 'n' roll oldies. No, seriously, the point is that Bush stinks.

I have to make it clear that Kentuckians think Bush stinks, so people in other states won't think Kentucky is some backwards place.

Most of the people here (the Cincinnati area of KY) have a serious dislike for Kerry, as they did for Gore.

Maybe it's a sign that the Democratic Party needs to stop trying to be Republicans Lite.
