The 2016 national polls were not wrong. Im getting sick of this talking point.

In addition, The Hill is very pro-Trump.

This is like when you blow a bubble with bubble gum and it gets so big that you can't avoid it bursting on your glasses.

It's just that The Media is so determined to re-elect Trump that they won't report on all the bad stuff he does.

Nationwide or just in those districts?

If this is just those districts, it's hard to see how the GOP even still exists in 2019.

It looks bad for them in the long term, but in the meantime, how long do we have to put up with their madness? They're like the dinosaur in the movies that gets their head cut off but continues to stumble around and break things.

...If you are thinking that the current situation could lead to the electoral demise of the GOP, then wait at least twelve years unless the Party folds or splinters. Republicans took an electoral beating every electoral year from 1930 to 1944, only to win a House majority in 1948 and the Presidency in 1952. I might want to show how similar the electoral maps of 1928 and 1952 (or 1956) were.

Eisenhower wasn't totally off his rocker though. Parties die when they get too extreme. Who wants to associate themselves with today's GOP? This creates sort of a death spiral for the party.

https://www.cnbc.com/2017/12/18/economic-optimism-soaring-helping-trump-cnbc-survey.html

CNBC poll: Trump underwater just 42-49, a 7 point increase in net approval since the last poll as Americans' views on the economy rise.

Democrats are in big big trouble if the economy is still humming along by the midterms next year. The Trump/Republican bounce back is coming.

CNBC, the same network that started the Tea Party.

To be honest with you, I don't think the tax bill issue is going away. But then again, the right-wing media swept the 2013 government shutdown under the rug awfully quick, so I can't be absolutely sure.

If Bernie bros really believe that the WWC who voted for Sanders in West Virginia, Oklahoma and Kentucky did it because they are socialism-curious, then they are even bigger suckers than I ever thought.

I don't think they're "socialism-curious." I know for a fact some were already outright socialist.

Latest Rasmussen Survey:
Approval: 46%
Disapproval: 52%
These are the best numbers Trump has had in months, this shows that Trumps use of Racial divisive rhetoric (the s**thole comment) is mobilizing White Conservatives behind him, and could prove devastating for Democrats this year when they have to defend 10 senate seats and 12 house seats that Trump won and that are filled with White Conservatives mobilized by his divisive rhetoric.

Dream on.

The more accurate poll is the special election in Wisconsin that the Republicans just lost yesterday.

He has improved (a bit) in just about every poll. Some polls show Trump moving up more than others, while some show him down a bit these last few days. Moves by 1-2% aren't really that big a deal, but I'm surprised that he's jumped 13% with registered voters in the CNN poll.

538 has him going back down again, even with CNN's biased poll.

Fox News Poll:

Approve - 45%(+7)
Disprove - 53%(-4)

https://twitter.com/foxnewspoll/status/956301177850925056

Should be noted, their last poll was in October.

It should also be noted that it's Fox News.

I would guess that, for all of Trump's buffoonery, he will get a boost in Utah for the forseeable future because most Utahns support his effort to strip National Monument status from Bear's Ears.

Who in Utah of all places would support this???

Its funny how Trumps approval rating in Alaska, which is supposed to be the next big swing state is the same in Arkansas a state that is supposed to be completely safe republican.

Its Especially funny, considering Trump won Alaska by a margin of 15 Points but won Arkansas by a margin of 27 points.

Yeah. It's hysterical.

Monmouth:

42% approve (32% in Dec)
50% disapprove (56% in Dec)

At the risk of me sounding stupid, what is going on here?
