The one benefit it would have is to make Trump more palatable for a lot of more risk-averse voters.  In retrospect, since that is Trump's biggest weakness - yes, it is a strong ticket.

I agree with Pete. Boehner shores up many of the concerns folks have with Trump, so I think it's actually a strong ticket.
