Is it just me, or does the "5" in Michigan on the map look a bit off-center? (Not to rag on you or anything, Joe.)

If it were more centered in the Lower Peninsula, it would be just a little too close to the shore of Saginaw Bay for my liking.  As it is, it kind of takes into account the westward skew caused by the UP.  Believe me, I had given it some thought already.

Question for future reference: Do we have to trade in once we have five cards? And if we come into possession of more than five at the end of a turn due to conquering another player, do we have to trade in on the spot?

#1: Correct.

#2: Not on the spot, no.  You just keep them until the start of your next turn and then have to trade in as many sets as necessary until you have less than five cards.
