I already voted in this election, and I have to admit that despite voting straight-ticket Democrat in every other race, I had to vote NOTC for governor.  Bob Goodman is a random nobody, and is not running any kind of campaign whatsoever.  I guarantee you that the only reason he 'won' the primary in the first place is because of people in Clark county who probably thought he was related to Oscar and Carolyn.

There is zero attention being paid to the governor's race; instead it's all about the LG and AG races.  I never really thought Lucy Flores had all that much of a shot, but at least this poll makes the AG race more reassuring.  This election will put Miller in a much stronger position to run for governor against Hutchison in 2018.  (I'd be very surprised if he went after Heller's seat instead.)

The GOP Governor before Sandoval also won re-election with nearly 70%, so it's certainly possible.

The GOP Governor before Sandoval lost re-election... to Sandoval.  Wink

I thought in 2012 he'd have been the best VP pick for Romney, and I think I was definitely right.

Reality check:  The GOP base will never accept a pro-choicer anywhere near the presidential ticket.

Got a mailer today from the NV Dems, which included this image:

LOLOL.

Yeah, those nobodies in NV-2 and NV GOV...don't worry about voting for them.

The mailer was sent throughout Clark county, so I wouldn't expect them to include whoever is running in the upstate NV-2.  But excluding their nominee for this election's headline statewide race?  LOLOL indeed.

Judging by the way his neck is melting onto his tie, I'd say it's more like clay than plastic.
