Yes, the past four years have pushed me further to the right on economics, but I am still to the left of many people on many social issues, especially relative to most Republicans.

Such as your belief that gay marriage is not a priority for America because gays usually die of AIDS anyway, so why should anybody care?

In case anybody has missed it, Politico is currently suggesting that people who are made to feel unwelcome in a particular community are better off leaving than sticking around and putting up with the abuse.

Funny, that exception also includes - in your mind, anyway - gay people.
