I've already explained my reasoning for using the term.  I will not use the derogatory term 'Tea Partiers' under any circumstances, except just then I guess.

1) I said certain circumstances like when its used against a poster or a bunch of posters on the forum

Appropriate uses of the word would be when its in discussion of an article where a Teapartier used the term themselves.

Its not the word itself but the use of the word in the context of insulting or attacking forum members
MY MAIN PROBLEM IS WHEN IT IS USED TO ATTACK OTHER POSTERS.

So, it's just like when non-Democrats deliberately use the word 'Democrat' as an adjective, feigning innocence in doing so, and then claim that people who find it irritating are simply getting their panties in a bunch?

Am I missing all these uses of it?  I admit, there are large chunks of this place I don't go to.
So it doesn't happen here then?

(the "Democrat Party" thing)

Ha ha.

...But this is reflective of a general attitude in the Democrat Party that started long before Reagan was even serious about running for President.

...So Jesse Jackson and Miss Nomo and Jfern and the Democrat cooalition (much of present company excluded) can say what they want...

... there will exist that 30-40% of the Democrat base that hates the fact that we breath and will do anything they can to discredit guys like you, me and Bush

This contemptous attitude by liberals is eating away at the base of the Democrat party.

With the Deaniacs gaining ground within the structures and institutions of the Democrat Party, I fear all of this is only going to get worse.

Also, I agree with you that the Democrat party isn't "dead" anywhere.

The only places where the Democrat party has any success at all in winning races is locally...

First off, would you complain if a socialist wanted to run in the Democrat Party because he couldn't get elected as a socialist?

Then why don't you close the Democrat Party in the South?  Obviously, you don't even need the votes.

Tell me, where in any way does this Hackett fellow deviate once from the Left-Democrat Party line? Truth: he doesn't.

Wilson was chosen by Democrat party bosses because he was the most Comservative candidate in 1912, TR being the liberal Candidate, Taft the Moderate.

id *never* join the democrat party.  the culture of dependency that they promote is sickening.

What evidence is there that the Democrat Party is moving to the right?

Ya srsly.  That was just a search for "Democrat Party" that I ran three years ago, and I only picked out one offense from each poster.  I'm sure there are many more cases since then, containing other variants.
