Me and Yankee like the vote, so that is that. We could have a vote on whether to have a vote or not but, well, wouldn't want to "waste time"

The new one is suppose to open on Friday, so it is procedurally impossible for that to be case.

Well, then we can focus on nonconvention stuff.
