You're better off just installing FoxVox on Firefox. You'll have to confirm that you want to install the add-on that Mozilla is too lazy to review and install the correct voice pack (it's US-2, the default British voice doesn't seem to be very clear) but after all that it's leagues better than any server side app.
Even better, if you have Mac OSX, just set up the native TTS app within the OS. The good voices have to be manually enabled and sometimes downloaded but it's better than FoxVox or any server side app. I listen to many of the comments on this very forum along with other stuff while relaxing.
