Come on Arpaio, don't let me down.  Dynamite their cars.

If the Westboro Baptist Church had blockaded all traffic into and out of Washington DC to protest Nancy Reagan's funeral, would the left have supported that?  I want to see widespread condemnations of this behavior from every left-wing news outlet and pundit, as well as from Barack, Hillary and Bernie.

This idea that Cruz doesn't at least start off favored in AZ continues to be ridiculous.

Cruz was behind by double digits in Arizona even before this happened.

I'd wager Trump goes over 50 here.

This is such a huge victory for Trump.  CNN has literally just been following his motorcade is it travels around Arizona for the last fifteen minutes and talking about him.  If these protests hadn't happened, they wouldn't even be covering the rally at all.

Arpaio says three of the protesters are in jail!  "Not in this town!"

Arpaio is a surprisingly low-energy guy.

Love seeing right wingers freaking out over blocking roads. Yes we are the crazy ones, you guys only want to  ban a whole religion from the country. How patriotic.

typical leftist generalizing the right again

Your right only 2/3 of your party Roll Eyes

I'm not even a right-winger.  I support Hillary.
I just don't want to see Trump elected because these idiot supporters are alienating everyone from the anti-Trump movement.  People are going to say "I don't want to be on the same side as those people!"

Civil disobedience is OK if you have no other way of expressing your opinion (in dictatorships, where free speech is suspended, etc...)

Civil disobedience is not OK in a democracy that respects the right of free speech.

This thread isn't even about free speech.  It is about an action, an action that has massive negative consequences on thousands of innocent people.  Surely every action isn't protected under free speech?  And just because you did an action in support of a cause doesn't make it suddenly protected.

As Reagan said fifty years ago:  "All of it began the first time those of you who know better, and are old enough to know better, let young people think that they had the right to choose the laws they would obey so long as they did it in the name of social protest."

Ronald Reagan, where have you gone...

Anyone purposely blocking a roadway and impeding traffic, and I mean for any reason, should be arrested immediately. That should be the response, if for no other reason than the fact that they're jeopardizing public safety. God forbid there should be an emergency, and first responders can't get through that area because of a blocked roadway. And I can almost guarantee that if the grandma or sister or other relative of one of the protesters was the one in need of unavailable assistance, you could count the minutes before the lawsuit was filed against the city.

Think, people. The principle is fairly straight forward...

Wow how authoritarion of you. Remember these guys are protesting Trumps reteric.

He said for any reason.  Does the fact that they were protesting Trump's rhetoric make it ok to break the law?  Does that make it ok to break any law or just the ones that don't affect you?

This is disgusting. Leave themprotest peacefully and let TRUMP have his rallies. Thousands of White people want to listen to the Donald.

Wow. And you're probably one of those screaming that Trump is racist. Let me ask you, what nice names would you call a black person who supported Trump? Just curious...

LOL what?? First of all the number is slim to none. Secondly I was clearly pointing out that most of Trumps supports are white....oh and to answer your question I'd call them an idiot.

That's right.  You just like pointing things out, that's the only reason you wanted to make the point that they were white.  Just pointing it out, that's all.
