She's a homophobe - 10 years ago those comments were not even mainstream acceptable. If this was the first occurrence, you could maybe cut a little slack, but we know this is not the first time she's been caught.

Such a double standard here. Personally, I don't think people should be punished for their "unpleasant" beliefs. Many of the people here willing to give her the benefit of the doubt though, wouldn't be so forgiving if she wasn't a down the line lefty and/or POC.
