Struggling to imagine the kind of Muslim who would vote for an irreligious philanderer because the other candidate was Christian.

Do you think a Likud supporting Jew would vote for an irreligious philanderer because the other candidate was Muslim? Basically the same principle.

Probably not if the irreligious guy had pushed for a "Jew ban" on travel from Israel, to continue the analogy.
