This would be the dumbest possible move for Congressional Republicans if they do pass a "skinny repeal". It doesn't repeal Obamacare, ensures higher costs, increases the likelihood of a death spiral, and places any blame for healthcare problems on themselves.

Also doesn't cut taxes except the Medical Device Tax.

Also doesn't cut Medicaid.

According to reports of recent drafts, it doesn't even repeal the medical device tax.

I thought the whole point of repealing Obamacare was to make tax reform easier. Jfc.

Um, Ok.

Burgess Everett‏ @burgessev
Capito and Murkowski telling my colleagues @seungminkim @jenhab they've decided on skinny repeal ... but won't say how they will vote.

What's Rand Paul's rationale for opposing Graham-Cassidy?

All bow to ObamaCare, our newest entitlement program, now basically safe forever.

Unless the Republicans gain seats in the Senate next year, which is very possible with the amount of red state Democrats up for re-election...
