While I appreciate the sentiment of Cruz performing a rearguard action against forced acceptance of peculiar behavior, I think it is hardly within the purview of a prospective President of the United States to weigh in regarding an issue so trivial as who gets to use which bathroom.
I switched my support from Paul to Cruz in October after Cruz had the stones to call for a gold standard and ending corn subsidies. Now he's making his campaign about issues that not even fundies truly care about. He really wants to be the next Rick Santorum.
