I would like to know more about your political views when you were 5.

Probably asked his parents why a crazy woman and black man were running for the highest office in the land and extrapolating from that Bush being batsh**t crazy

More or less.

I thought I was the most politically aware 5-year-old ever. I knew that Bush and Gore and Nader were the candidates and that my parents preferred Gore but that's about it.
I vaguely remember supporting Bush for some reason when I was five. My little brother (3-4 years old at the time) supported Kerry.

I also very vaguely remember the 2000 election, or at least "Bush" and "Gore".

The one who was actually elected as a Republican and supports the free market.
How can one both be a real republican and support the free market?

HP because I've come to the conclusion that Hillary Clinton to Bernie Sanders IS the acceptable Overton Window. Absolutely nothing to the right if her or to the left of him is acceptable in any way. Actually come to think of it that sums up "all liberal all the time" pretty well...
