Trump retires. Pence names Attorney General Kelly Ayotte as his running mate because she had endorsed Sandoval, the runner up who dropped out May 3, in the primaries. Reich, who beat out Governor Justice in February and Senator Gwen Graham in May, chooses Senator Henry Cuellar as his running mate. Cuellar won 49-42 over Gohmert, who barely beat Cruz in a primary.

Not sure who wins, but on a side note, choosing Cuellar is a pretty dumb move because finding a replacement for a Democratic Senator in Texas who will win is impossible.
A top staffer for him(Chief of Staff Cynthia Gaona), his wife, Imelda, or his brother, sheriff Martin Cuellar, Jr., could all take it if one of them was elected to his House seat. Filemon Vela, Jr., Pete Gallego, and Chet Edwards all might be able to hold it.
