MohammedChalid, do you suppose Brown's libertarianism wouldn't help him in states like AK, MT, and IN? I mean, Begich and Murkowski are pretty libertarian. Schweitzer and Jon Tester are pretty libertarian for Democrats, while Indiana elected Mitch Daniels and is regularly one of the Libertarian party's best states. However, I think it would hurt him in a populist state like Iowa.

Or are you saying that he'd have to change quite a bit on gun control and some economics to win the nomination and mainstream Democratic support?
