Fulani gains a large amount of African-American votes in the South, winning 9.6% among Southern black women and 7.3% among Southern black men. Some claim this is because of the low black turnout for Trump, who defeated Douglas Wilder in the primary. The final black vote was 80%-15%-4.5%The final white vote was 52-46-2. Hispanics went 53-42-5 for Trump. In the end, Bush's pick of Whitman allowed him to send her north, particularly gaining in the suburbs and eastern parts of Pennsylvania.
