You mean Sargent Shriver, McGovern’s 1972 running mate?

Rockefeller wins a comfortable victory. Symington performs better in the Midwest and upper south, while Rockefeller does better in the east and the west.

Governor Nelson A. Rockefeller (R-NY)/Governor Ronald Reagan (R-CA): 325 EV. (46.8%)
Senator Stuart Symington (D-MO)/Ambassador Sargent Shriver (D-MD): 160 EV. (40.7%)
Governor Lester Madoxx (AI-GA)/Judge John Rarick (AI-LA): 53 EV. (11.8%)

No, I mean Allan Shivers, the former Governor of Texas.
