1. John Kasich
2. Scott Walker
3. Rand Paul
4. Lindsey Graham
5. Carly Fiorina

Bush did the absolute worst. Kasich's performance wasn't applause worthy, but he made sense without getting that aloof feeling from Bush and Clinton. When Bush tries to connect with me, he gets this strained look in his eyes as if "Oh, not everyone is related to two Presidents? Well, I like welfare sort of ish." Then he glares at me and tries to convince me he understands.

Kasich, Paul and Walker did best IMO.

Yes, in the sense they accomplished the most for themselves. Christie was good, but I don't think he branched out, and took a risk anywhere.

Bush and Rubio were the big losers in the top tier I think. Fortunately for them, this event does not matter much. But it suggests the limits of their abilities.

I wonder if Kasich will start eating into the Jeb vote.

Possibly, but many undecideds are likely thinking "So, they talk about balancing the budget, but none do that. Then they go off on their social conservative rants - I mean stances." I suspect some are wondering if there's an actual moderate to back.

- John Kasich is copying Jeb Bush's message in some respects

As in, he took all of Bush's talent away?

Huh

God, that moderator was awful. He's pretty rude, too.

The way he bristled at that light hearted question about speed-dating showed a high level of douche-ness. I think he was a terrible moderator. He never pressed anyone. We didnt learn anything here that we havent in various other interviews with these people. None ever felt any pressure.

"I love Scott Walker!!!!"

Also, his response to Kasich taking over the interview was hilariously nonchalant.

If you like Jeb Bush, I have a "swag store" to sell you.

Was that like the most blatant and worst attempt at pandering to young people ever?

At Lindsey Graham's "9/11, 9/11, 9/11!!!"

Interesting how dudeabides only shows up after Jeb leaves the stage...could they be the same person??!!

Stop, okay?

I know what it's like being harassed for liking a candidate a lot. Doing that only encourages support, and it causes breaking up with an otherwise highly knowledgeable people. Dudeabides is one of our most frequent posters. I may disagree with what he has to say, but I will defend his right to say it. Please stop attacking him needlessly for energetically backing a candidate while some of us find everyone in 2016 hard to be excited about. Dudeabides:

"I disapprove of what you say, but I will defend to the death your right to say it."

I'd hardly call that an attack, maybe it would help if he talked about anything besides Bush.

So? You were quite blatantly saying that he was Jeb Bush as a form of mockery. I don't call you "Julian Castro" to mock you. Listen, I respect you. Your posts are usually very independent-minded. However, I feel the need to inform you that the proper response to energetic support of a candidate is, "Great! You found someone to support! I like how enthusiastic you are!" The proper response is most definitely not "Jeb Bush did bad! Are you Jeb Bush? LOL! How can you like Bush?!?"
