Believe it or not my Psychology teacher spent a half hour last class just on promoting his liberal political ideology. It does happen-they have the floor, so they just have to take the time to spread their political agenda.
This guy taught Ethnic Studies my freshman year. He has a Ph.D. He's been teaching for more than 20 years.
99% of College Professors are nutjobs, so in all likelihood, I say yes.
Or is she part of the 1% that isn't?
