Harding was a pretty good president-for the time he was in office. I'd say between Nixon and George W. Bush, but Hoover was bad too.
Yeah, you can change your avatar to Democrat now.
You oppose the other tax cuts? Change your avatar to Democrat immediately.
The 2003 taxcuts I don't support. The 2001 were what was needed at the time being to help spur economic growth during the recession. Since that time, the federal deficit has been rising very quickly. There's really no point in making additional tax cuts when you're in deficit because the deficit will need to get paid back eventually anyways.
And no, I will not change my avatar to the party that supports excessive regulation, minimum wage laws, mediscare, gun control, and Ted Kennedy.
Heck A18, even Alan Greenspan didn't approve of the 2003 cuts.
Hey, I just figure George Bush isn't more fiscally responsible than the Democrats he considered "tax and spend" last year when his economic policy revolves around "spend and spend". I think it's as fiscally irresponsible for me to advocate digging a deficit as it does taxing everyone.
Does this make me a Democrat?
