In the Metro Detroit area of Michigan, a 12 oz T-bone steak with a baked potato, vegetable, and a salad would cost about $20 in the average steak restaurant. Drinks, deserts and appetizers would be extra.
^^^ where at? Chili's? TGI friday's?
In Texas it's a lil cheaper!
There are two nice steak places nearby; Nick's 22nd Street Steak House and The Packard Grille. Neither is a real fancy place but both are very nice and the food is excellent. ( A fancy place to me would be one with white table cloth and waiter's in Tux's. Too fancy for my blood. I prefer to wear jeans.)

Holy crap David S.  I live right by you.  I passed the 22nd Steak House on my way to guitar lessons today at the music box.
