He's definitely good among Republicans and is pretty tolerable, but I still would never vote for him. Massachusetts should be under unified Democratic control.

So that's the demonym to describe someone from Massachusetts... I've never heard anyone use anything other than Masshole.

I think the state government prefers "Bay Stater." I don't think there's really an agreed upon one though. I kind of like Massachusettsan for some reason.
