1. Ted Cruz (eventual nominee)
2. Mike Pence
3. Paul LePage

LePage doesn't strike me as the type who would appeal to Iowa caucusgoers.

Cotton defeats Pence, Flynn, and Perdue.

Perdue, interesting. I haven't thought of him as a potential presidential candidate.

Either Ted Cruz or Mike Pence

If Ted Cruz is the winner of the Iowa caucuses then Mike Pence will come in second

If Mike Pence is the winner of the Iowa caucuses then Ted Cruz will come in second



It's fairly normal for "establishment" candidates to come in second in Iowa, just not first.
