I don't really know what you're trying to prove with those county statistics but Debs was an interesting guy. He ran five times without winning a single elector. That's not very significant, but considering one-timers like J. Strom Thurmond and George Wallace won a small share of electors (especially when considering what they stood for) far more recently than Debs, gives it an eerie feel. Perhaps Debs wouldn't have been jailed if he had supported Southern segregationists?
