I've lived in DC for a short enough time and without a car that there are quite a few nearby cities and towns I haven't visited. I'm gonna say either Takoma Park, MD; Potomac, MD; or Lake Barcroft, VA. I might have briefly passed through one or more of them, but never spent significant time in any.
For Seattle, it's almost definitely Beaux Arts Village, a town which you could easily convince me is just a legend and not a real place.
