There is a good side to this - that the US is losing it's monopoly over Western geopolitical strategy, and opening up more room for debate. Plus, I suspect a post-Trump president trying to cobble together a "coalition of the willing" for a controversial war will face a heck of a lot more blowback than we've seen for any president up to this point.
