UK. I've been there several times and truly feel at home there. At one point, I was very nearly going to move to Scotland. Not to mention the fact that my favorite TV shows, band, and books are all British.
I have nothing against Germany, and I think it is definitely a beacon the free world can look to. But having never been there, and just not being as familiar with it, I have to go with the UK.
